I meant that all children are born on the "fitrah" and then their parents make them Jews, Christians or atheists etc etc-- to be "born again" is to have made the decision on your own --not influenced by your care takers-- but out of free will, soul search and self reflection... And each man and woman has a right to do so.
I don't believe in Original sin-- in the sense that from No man's sin shall another man suffer, nor from another man's good deeds shall another be rewarded. Each soul is captive by what it has earned and its own deeds... So it says in the Quran and I am sure some of the kind members here can find the verses to attest to this....
I wish you the best of luck with everything-- and indeed I think it is a great idea to wake up in the morning and make a prayer from the heart-- I know that you will be listened to and will answered as to the purity of your intent... Insha'Allah...
"God Most High says I am as my Servant - think I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me by himself, I make mention of him to Myself. If he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than his. If he comes closer to Me a hand span, I come closer to him arms-length, if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running."
Good night ---and with any luck this time... goodbye for a while--
