Just A Tear... Born in the depths of the eye, It is wrongly related to the cry, Just a mere drop of salted water. It trickles down the pale cheeks,
Leaving behind the eye as it seeks,
Just a mere drop of salted water.
Slowly caressing the quivering lips,
Feeling the painful heart as it rips,
Just a mere drop of salted water.
As the tongue tastes the salt,
You'ld think that the pain would halt,
Just a mere drop of salted water.
It is strangely called as a drop of tear,
Nothing really to worry or fear,
It is just a mere drop of salted water.
As it blends into nothingness,
And of what is this restlessness,
After all for a mere drop of salted water.
Worth nothing to this world's mortals,
Yet it connects to heaven without portals
This little speck of salted drop of water.
