~*I hope u r all in da best state of health 'N' iman inshallah*~
Just wanted to ask who is your favorite speaker?
Also if you can provide a link where we can listen to his/her lectures, InshAllah that would be great too!
I'll start off...
I really love listening to Imam Abdur-Raheem Green
MashAllah superb speaker, which of course just my opinion!
You can also take a listen at this link:
I like listening to Dr. Zakir Naik. You can find his lectures (I think) on Islam channel as well as here: http://www.drzakirnaik.com/pages/lectures/index.php (scroll down a bit) He's a very knowledgeable scholar of Islam as I'm sure many of you know. He has an indian accent but he speaks good English. Check it out please
"I spent thirty years learning manners, and I spent twenty years learning knowledge."

* Just remembered the Marriage Seminar he did in JIMAS conference.. SUBHANALLAH... i cudnt wipe the SMILY out of my face*
i like Sheykh Ahmed Ali and Shaykh Riyadhul haqs lectures too .. and err nt Forgetting our LOCAL ARea Shaykhs ..Maulana Saleen Dhorat and Hazrat Maulana Adam Kawthari .
The Prophet said, "Nobody who enters Paradise likes to go back to the world even if he got everything on the earth, except a Mujahid who wishes to return to the world so that he may be martyred ten times because of the dignity he receives (from Allah)."
no doubt that all scholars of islam are beneficial and all those who preach the tawheed of Allah (ie Islam) are worthy of praise, sayin that Shaikh Muhammed Shareef is really good mashAllah ( lol also remember his talk at Jimas, mashAllah) Zakir Naik is amazin as well...Sheikh Qarni (arab) alongside with sheikh Amr Khaleed give amazin talks about the prophet and the companions mashAllah....soo mannyy but I think I'll stop there lol
i often take time to listen to islamic talks.
a point i would like to mention is that one should try and act as much as possible upon wat they listen to and aim to derive benifit from it.
i would highly recomend the talks of Hazrat Molana Muhammed Saleem Dhorat Sahib, an emminent and powerful speaker in the urdu language.
his talks can be found at www.idauk.org
for those who prefer english then Shaykh Hamza Yusuf is exceptional.
his talks can be found at the site for the zaytouna institute.
for those who do not have a preference www.edars.com is a good site on which talks can be heard.
