Next time when you buy something, ask the seller is there any haram ingredients (like pork related things etc.). He knows if there is and if he doesn´t know, don´t buy it.

Does kosher mean it won't have alcohol in it or that it just doesn't have animal bits and pieces in it?
Kosher is a Jewish term but as far as I am aware, Jews can drink, so just make sure it's non alcoholic. I know a latte is probably not going to have alcohol in it but better to be safe than sorry.
