Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu brothers and sisters! I hope you are all doing well .
This are some Arabic phrases that you can learn inshallah easily as some of us don't know Arabic .
*Marhaba*: Hello
*Kaifa haluki/Kaifa haluk*:how are you ?
*Ana bijair, alhamdulillah*: I'm fine!!
*Ma ismuki (female)/Ma ismuk (male)*: What's your name ?
*Ismi ......*:My name is .....
*Latif an uqabilaki/latif an uqabilak*: Nice to meet you !!
*Ma-assalama*: Good bye
*Hal tatakallami al-ingliziya/Hal tatakallam al ingliziya*: Do you speak English?
*Na-am ana atakallam al-ingliziya*: Yes , I speak English
*La ana la atakallam al-ingliziya*: No , I don't speak English .
A lot of Arab muslims say *Shukran* but it's better to say *Jazaki/jazaka Allahu khairan*( islamicly , you will have more rewards if you say it , better than shukran ) .
~ A lot of people from Saudi Arabia say *Marhaba* but it's better to say *Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu*.
And this word is used too much by Arabs : *Wallahi* meaning *I promise you*.
They use it a lot but you just use it when it is needed ( like if someone doesn't trust you ...).
*Sabahu al Khair/ sabahu annur*: good morning .
*Ana na-ima*: I'm sleeping
*Rabb*: God
*Good evening*:Massa el khair
*Greetings*:TaHiat
*Goodbye*:MaAa a-ssalama
*Excuse me*:Ma-Azera
*Sorry*:Asef
*Please*:Min-Fadlak
*Stop*:Tawaqaf
*Yes/No*:Na-Am/La
*I don't Know*:Laa-Aref
*Who?/What?*:Maza/Man
*Where?/Why?*:Ayna/Lemaza
*How much?*:Kam ath-thaman
*How many?*:Kam al Aadad
*How do I get to?*: Kaeef yomKanany ElHosool ala?
